Compression tested adapter?
I'm experiencing an odd problem with a compression tester I bought from Harbor Freight. The base of the 10mm adapter is larger than the sparkplug base and won't go into the recess for the plug at the bottom of the well. I have bought another one from the same place and still only get about 3 turns in on the thread before the adapter base stops it from going further. Anyone else ran into this issue? Is there a specific set of adapters people are using?
So far I've tried: https://www.harborfreight.com/deluxe...-pc-64917.html https://www.harborfreight.com/quick-...ression+tester |

This is the set that I use. I haven't tried harbor freight compression testers but they should still be able to thread on. You might have some dirt or carbon on the spark plug threads. I recommend you chase them with a thread chaser prior to buying anything else. |
