Sudden electrical issues

Sooo I was doing a naked conversion like what Chicagobob has done. To put the headlight brackets on I had to take the top part of the triple tree off and I just let the handle bars dangle down. After I slid them on, I immediately put the bars back on and continued. When it was time to wire up the turn signals, suddenly the right one didn’t work front or back, and the left was intermittent. After messing with the wires to see if any movement caused it to work, I took the switch cover off and sprayed it with electric parts cleaner because the inside was absolutely filthy. It only made it worse as now the cancel is intermittent too.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why only the turn signals dont work when the horn and light switch work perfectly fine. The solder joints to the switch looked just fine and nothing suggest broken wires. A friend noted that when the bike was on, trying to turn the right turn signal on caused the lights to dim briefly. Its also worth noting that otw home my brand new headlight bulb low beam stopped working. Im already very upset so I didnt see if it burnt out or what. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, either way I’ll probably take it yo a shop

With a meter or test lamp see if power is getting to the switch, and if power is getting out of the switch. If it is, then trace the wire to the next step, and on until you find where it doesn't get through.
