Papa needs a new pair of VROOM
I found a CHEAP 2004 EX250, but the engine is shot. Anyone have experience replacing powerplants? I also heard a rumor that a 500 engine will fit in it, is that true?

Chad I know there are a couple of folks on here who have replaced the engines, and I"ve seen several on e-bay recently... can't help with the 500 though

Changing engines is not especially hard
As in: "It's easier than replacing the crankshaft."
Most reports I've seen have used engines in the 200-300 dollar range Here's a decent POV about putting in a bigger engine...I'm pretty sure a 500 engine will not just bolt in. http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/I_want_...ne_in_my_Ninja |

It was an '04 with like 11k miles on it. The guy wanted $350 for the whole bike plus the busted engine. Anyways, he sold it before I could go look at it. Thanks for the replies tho guys.
