Removing Carburetors?

Lastnight I was on my way to shimming the needles on my '09. The four screws on the carb covers are def pitas. I'm down to the last one, and I destroyed the head. I cant seem to find a chuck long enough to get down threw the frame for my extractor bit. I've searched and haven't found any details on getting the carbs out. Everyone just seems to have pics of them magically out. Does the airbox, battery, etc need to come out to do this? I'm not at a total loss, worst case scenario I can pack it all back up and keep it stock, and wait for pods / exhaust. Any tips would be great.
Thanks
Justin

I cant seem to get the clamps loosened from the airbox side of the carbs. The two ducts from the airbox, to the carbs. Are you kidding me...its an allen head clamp? The front four are phillips... Im using the longest allens I have and cant seem to get anything to mate in there well. What were you guys using!?
Thanks

do you have an allen socket that you could use? Put it on an extender?

I ended up getting it, although I think im just gonna put the bike back together as is. It doesn't even look like my extractor is going to fit the stripped screw.

Well got it all back together stock. I was ready to slid the carbs out, and just decided to wait until winter or so. I may just leave it stock, not sure where this urge of mine even arised. Thanks for the help, tips guys.

Nothing wrong with just leaving it stock.

Some advice I've gotten is to file down 2 sides of the carb screw, then use some pliers to twist it out.
