"Fake" Rearset Question/Help

Greetings fellow ninjettians!

A few years ago, I opted *not* to buy a full rearset, and instead bought these simple little extender things that shifted the levers back about an inch or two. Anyways, yesterday I wiped out and bent the little extended shifter linkage rod that you have to use for the shifter because the stock one is too short when you move the shifter back. I need to get a new one, but for the life of me, I can't remember or dig up the company that made the extender! Any ideas of where I might be able to order a replacement?

Are you thinking of the Yoshimura rearset riser plates?

They are described in this link. yoshimura-rearset-riser-plates-ninja-250r

Can't be those because they are new this year. I remember kkim had one of the first sets that came out years ago. I'll try to find a link to them.

Most likely Cycle Control (A&L now) rearset adjusters.

Poo: Is it the CycleControl ones listed in the thread above?

The first sets were just steel plates like this:

They were called "Footpeg Extenders"

The CycleControl adjusters came with a threaded rod for extending the shift linkage. These were the first ones that I had seen for sale, and that I purchased. The exact same ones are now made by A&L Motorsports.

I sent them an email asking how much for the extender, but they haven't responded.
Thanks dubojr!

A&L rocks!

I spoke with Anthony there, and within 24 hours, he had one shipped off to me! If anyone is thinking about doing business w/A&L, I can only encourage them to go for it, based on my experience.

I was super impressed.

Thanks! That's good to know. My threaded stud, three nut stoppers, and priority shipping was the same price as grainger's *just* for the stud and without shipping. Although, there is a graingers near my house, so that is super valuable info. Thanks!
