So I installed a new horn yesterday (can post pics if you guys want, but it's really not that exciting looking). It sounds a bit louder, but sounds much beefier and attention getting. I picked it up for like $20 and it's super easy to install. It's the FIAMM Freeway Blaster (Low Tone), for those of you interested in changing out your horn.

And then I took a hacksaw to that ugly rear fender. I may do an eliminator kit in the future, but for now I'm quite happy the way it turned out.

Bike is looking good Eric. If you guys ever plan to shim your needles in the near future, let me know. I'd like to do mine too. If it'd be too much work for 2 bikes, I'd atleast like to watch and see how its done.

Btw, who's scooter is ruining the pic, I mean... uh... wait.. whoops... lol jkjk

*Sigh* I'm going to sell it, I told you that. Just need to find out what paperwork is involved in selling it. And what the process is of getting the title and all that transferred to whoever is going to buy it.

I think we may be doing it next week or the week after that. I'll let you know when we do it.

New fender looks nice bro. I might have to do the same to mine ha. Can't stand looking at the stock one, but can't get myself to pay $80 for the kit.

Looking good. Are those vinyl stripes on the paint under or over the clear coat? I like the new Red/Black one but would want to take off the stripes.

I never realized how freakishly long the rear plate fender is on these bikes Pics of it just made me order a tidy kit and LED tail. Yours looks much better with it cut off.

The vinyls on the fairings are not painted over and easily removed (the Kawasaki on the tank is under a clearcoat). Mine are coming off soon, actually. I'm getting reflective red decals to replace them.

And, went for a ride today, hit the interstate and had some fun really getting up some speed. She was due for a wash before that, and even more so after that. So got it washed.

Thank you ladies

Need lunch, and then it's time to clean and lube the chain.

Decals are off (except the back one, that's coming off today. It was on there pretty tight last night,so I just said I'd wait until today during the day).

I actually found that it looks pretty slick just black without the Ninja logo.

Here it is with the red rimstripes and the logos changed to red:

I still need to do a few more touch ups on it today and I will post final result pics late tonight.

^ I actually like the analogue gauges on the Ninjette. The only kind of digital gauge I'd like would be a helmet visor overlay display. I may have to wait a few years for that though.

You're bike is looking great btw. Really unique. Now that I have a job I think I'll start planning some unique visual mods for mine I'll probably go all out and get a big design tattooed on her.

If I stick with the analogue gauges, I'd like to put some custom faceplates on them to make it look a bit more visually appealing. Nothing crazy fancy, just some accents. Maybe a Ninja logo under the trip meter, nicer fonts for the numbers, and black background to match the bike.

If you don't like the white face ones i'm sure someone would be willing to trade their pre2012 ones with you.
