Yeah I did. I'm still waiting on my rearsets, then I plan on doing a video talking about my bike and the mods done to it.

Now that is a great looking bike! I really like the black and red! (My 2 favorite Colors ) The only thing I would do is reverse the color scheme and have a red bike with black decals and accents. Definitely like what you have done though!

Two thumbs up!

Very nice Sax! Clip-ons/rear sets/levers are definitely next on my list. Gotta get some more seat time and experience before I change that though.

Got a cowl today. Also, this is the first pic in this thread since I've painted my passenger pegs black too.

That looks really good! Mine almost seems to sit higher on the front than that. Did you do anything to the rubber bumpers to get it to sit lower? I am thinking about trimming down the rubbers so it sits more flush to the bike.

Nope, just put it together and put it on. It's just the Kawasaki cowl completely as it came to me. I've heard of some people trimming the rubber down, but I've also heard people say that after a month or so, the cowl sits flusher as the rubber sets in and wears itself in.

I'll just give it some more time then. Maybe if it doesn't settle itself in a little better in a few months then I'll trim it a bit. I probably won't be able to get a whole lot of riding in in the next few months as it's still "Winter" here even though today is 62 degrees!!! Which is insane for Iowa in January! Usually we have a foot of snow on the ground right now.

I switched out the big ones for he smaller ones in my stock rear seat. Then I bet the bracket by hitting it with a hammer (that goes into the key lock) to make it more flush. I still need to do it a little more, but have been too lazy.

Did you find out whether they still just pop in or if they slide under now like the rear seat?

I lost my rubber ring thing. :-\

I just got mine for Christmas and it still just pops in. I don't really want to bend anything so if anything ill just shave tye rubber stoppers on the cowl.

So is it hard to install the flush mounts? I am thinking doing the same. Do i need to take off all the fairings?

The flushmounts only require taking off the side fairings. If you do the rear signals, you'll have to take off the tail plastics too.

Yeah I just checked them, they look great. So I am not super skilled with electrical stuff, but I am guessing I will need to order the relay as well? They look pretty decent man.

It says its plug and play, so it should be relatively simple without cutting or any other complicated stuff?

You doing flushmounts in the front only? That's super simple. Yes, you'll need the relay as well, which is simply unplug the old one, plug the new one in, ground it and zip tie it to the frame. You have an LED integrated tail light or turn signals? If so, you'll also need the diode. If you want to be certain of what all you need to order, shoot Tri an email or PM.

I'm really happy how well all the red anodised pieces match each other, since they're all from different companies.

Just get black levers, that'll match. For the windscreen, if you're just going to paint it, Krylon Fusion Gloss Black. Don't do the satin like I did, the gloss one will look cleaner. I did the satin cause I used it for other things too that I didn't want gloss and I knew I was getting the red double bubble anyways.

Bumping my thread with a vid from Sunday morning's ride.

Link to original page on YouTube.

Not sure why there is no audio, cause I even made sure to edit in audio, but then it didn't make it up onto YouTube.

iMovie for video, then GarageBand for audio. I should really start using Logic to do the audio editing, but I'd have to export the movie file, then move it onto my laptop to do that. If I get Final Cut for school, I'll use that if/when I get it. But for now it's iMovie and GarageBand.
