Cool New additions to Modmy250.com

Hi guys and gals!

I now have the CustomLED rear integrated tail light listed on my website. I'm working hard on the website, so there are some things that are a little off at the moment, but it will all get fixed. I added a Contact Us page as well. The cool thing about that is now, you can just enter your message into the form and hit a button to send me an email. It's also there if you would like to provide some feedback and/or pictures. I will be working on getting a Customer Rides & Testimonial page up in the upcoming weeks. You are able to attach a picture up to 2mb on the contact page. Cool stuff!

I've relisted the Y adapters as well, but at a higher cost. I spend too much time on those to keep making them for free. I also have a new type of relay. I'm just looking for a good supplier. I purchased an initial batch, but the place I bought it from hasn't been very forthcoming on shipping information, other than to tell me it's been shipped. It's too bad because they had good prices on them. The new relay will be a 2 pin Relay that can handle up to 12 LED lights! It's an upgrade from the Tridon EP34 I currently sell. No wire to ground and can handle more lights. I'm also coating them in a rubberized plastic to provide a little more protection. They'll cost an extra $2, but I feel the benefits of a true plug & play relay and the extra protective coating will be well worth it. I will also offer it for sale as a single purchase, although I will be adding in shipping cost for it too.

I'm also in the process of creating/ uploading DIY videos on how to remove the rear fairings, install the CustomLED tail light, how to set the tail light with the Blaster-x switch, and how to install the Diode kit.

Lastly, my brother is working on an iPhone app that will contain all my DIY's that I've posted on this forum and my upcoming video DIY's. Best of all, it'll be a free app!

Here's my new contact page! http://modmy250.com/contactus.html

Thank you,
Tri

Solid stuff Tri. Looking forward to the completed site! Definitely loving the idea of the iPhone app

Hmmm... better relay + more protection + no ground wire = WIN!! Will probably pick one of these up as well as the re-released y-adaptors when I get some more funds!

And no, it should be the other way around! We should all be thanking you!!

Thanks for relisting the Y-adapters, I'll be buying those. As to the relay upgrade, I have the Tridon EP34 and I was wondering what the maximum number of LED lights it can handle since I'll be installing extra signal lights under the front cowl in addition to my already installed integrated tailight and flush mount signal lights...will it be sufficient or should I upgrade?
Thanks again for all your efforts bro. You rule!

The EP34 is good up to 6 lights, so you'll be alright

*Looks up dreamily into space and wonders if Tri will ever bring the front under cowl signal LEDs back...*

Alex, I can bring them back, but because their cost went up, I'd be charging $20 shipped for a set. Is that reasonable?

Yeah man...just tell me how much I would have to pay for the bundle (signal LEDs and the adapters) and I'll wire you the dough. Thanks

Alright. I'll put them back up. I'll probably do it tomorrow when I get a chance.

Okay, so from the integrated tail light group buy I got the tail light, led rear signals, front led signals and the led strips....that would be 7 if you count each light individually. So do I need to get the different relay? If so, can there be switcheroo or something?

Technically, that's 8 . But I believe it will still work. The front LEDs draw very little power. Try it and if it doesn't work, we can do an exchange.

Oh, the integrated tail light counts as 2? Interesting. Anywho, I'll let you know when I get me bike and get it all installed. Playing the waiting game right now.

Tri, have you ever thought about offering these electronics for an F-18 250 and the like?

He'll help you out with converting as much stuff over as long as you give the right info on connectors and such. Tri is a great guy. I bought a brake light modulator, and he helped me with figuring out if it would work with my pregen. I've yet to test it out though..

F means it's a pregen, 18 just the number they assign to each successive year of that model.

Mine is an ex250f13, it was made in 1999. Add 5 years onto that, and you get an ex250f18 made in 2004

Yes, what Chris said... I'm particularly curious about the modulator. All of the electronics seem very similar. The connections would have to be different though.

I've restructured the payments a little bit. Since I'm offering to sell the relays individually, I've removed the combination options from the LED drop down menus.

You can now choose priority shipping on any item sold on the Light page. All orders automatically get upgraded to free priority shipping!

Thanks!
Tri
