After market front brake rotors
I'm looking at buying an after market front brake rotor. There are a few options I have been looking at and wanted people's input on which will be best. Looking to track days and race this bike. I see that EBC has a few different ones and Galfer makes one. I would like all input please

I have an EBC floating rotor recommended to me by fellow local racers. The first two were defective but the third is fine and has several thousand kms of use including several track days. I'll try the Galfer next time but it's easier for me to get the EBC and they did stand behind their warranty by replacing both rotors & pads and without argument. I've broken in at least a dozen rotors & many more pads in my life (mostly EBC products) and this was the first time I've experienced an issue. Likely; it was a bad batch of steel and not typical of their normal quality.

I recommend getting a full floating rotor, either Galfer or EBC brand. Don't forget new pads, personally I use EBC HH, or Extreme HH pads, and of course service the calipers as well.
Both brands are a good choice, stay away from no-name China crap rotors

I use Galfer, it's distinctively superior to the stock rotor.
I have 2 sets of rims for racing, one set has Galfer rotors and the other is stock. I'll avoid using the stock units if I can help it. |

A full floating rotor is a wise decision, due to the OEM will warp, it's the design of said disc.
