*INSERT PROFANITY HERE* a.k.a small dent and scratch in tank, anbody used dent popper

Hey guys, during my CBT "compulsary basic training" I had to wheel my bike down a narrow path with scaffolding ralings either side, my trouser cuffs caught the gear lever, bumped it into first and it naturally came to a short sharp stop and my momentum pushed it over onto the scaffolding rail

The tank pad took the brunt of it, barring a small scratch in the clear coat and a shallow dent an inch apart from each other.

I will mask off a a square inch or less where the scratch is, laquer it up and take the very very fine wet or dry and polish that off no problem "i hope".

But my real question is, how well do the glue gun bridge screw down dent popper devices work? My dent has no creases, no paint damage, and is of a very shallow curve so it should be an ideal candidate, but has anybody tried this on a tank in simmilar curcumstances?

I have seen the compressed air freezing method but that always seems to revert to dented after it has heated up

Pictures to come in the morning.

I would imagine this would be the perfect type of dent to fix that way.

I've used dry ice on my car a couple times. I would figure it would work on a motorcycle tank too.

Does it not revert to dented after it heats back up?
