Track build

I started working on my track build again. I got most of the parts in for the build. It's a 2008 Ninja 250. I'm setting it up for track days and racing. I haven't raced in many years. I've been really missing being on the track.

I'll take any input or helpful thoughts with this build

Here's what I've done to mine.

- Woodcraft clip-ons
- Woodcraft rearsets
- TrailTech Vapor gauges
- Hotbodies bodywork
- Galfer SS brake lines
- Galfer disks
- Shaved kickstand bracket (no highsides allowed)
- Tyga full stainless exhaust system
- Motionpro Rev2 throttle set
- 428 chain and aluminum rear sprocket (sprocketspecialists.com)
- K-Tech rear suspension
- Progressive front springs with gold cartridge emulators
- Barnett clutch and springs
- Fully safety wired
- TechEdge wideband for tuning
- DynoJet tuning kit

I need to review the rulebook, but I believe I'm allowed to increase compression. So in off-season I'll rebuild engine and put in some 12,5:1 pistons.

How much should I drop the triple clamps. What should the measurement be from the top triple clamp to the top of the fork tube?

About 12mm for stock. Salt to taste once you get on the track.
