My dearest daughter turned 17 this weekend!
Just got home from taking my daughter birthday shopping and out to eat. I am so proud of her and my son I just wanted to brag a bit. My kids are both brilliant literally. Placing nationally in academic competitions and also nationally against countries like Singapore and Canada etc. My daughter is wanting to attend Stanford and my som M.I.T. I guess I will be working for the rest of my life but they are worth it. Just sitting around today and realizing the intelligent conversation I was having with both my children just amazes me.
Kids grow up fast and if you are a parent cherish and encourage them all you can! |

Well happy birthday to her!! A really good write up... I have a 5yo son, 1yo son and my wife is 2 1/2mo pregenant with our third child... I know everyone says it... but they really do grow up way to quickly!!!
Continue to enjoy those times together and so will I
