Guitar off and on. I have 2 newer Schecters, an ATX C7 Standard and an ATX C8. One is a 7 string and the other is an 8 string. Work nights so I don't play that much or very well. That and my other musical instruments each have 2 cylinders. One plays deep bass and the other plays ululating, screaming highs.

I've played guitar for for 12 years, about a year ago I started playing a little on drumsets here and there... getting better. I was a percussionist in middleschool for 3 years, I got a keyboard and can mess around with it a little; but just recently found out that playing the piano is NOT the same as the keyboard.

ive been playing guitar for about 6 years now, still kinda suck at it. I either have to read tablature or sit down and write out each note from sheetmusic. I think I'm tone deaf. I usually only play in church. Also recently started playing Mandolin as well.

No strings for me, just woodwinds. Mostly clarinet, but I also work on bass 'net, alto sax and flute when I get really sick of reeds. Have an old trumpet that my grandfather left me I've been learning on, but my beard keeps getting in the way

I've played guitar since I was 7 (14 years) and picked up the drums about 4 years ago - for all my experience in guitar, I ended up playing drums in my band haha. Drummers are definitely more of a commodity than guitarists these days.

I never learned to read music or much theory so I actually think I prefer drums now if I'm in any kind of 'jam' situation. It's much easier for me to improvise, or play the back beat, and follow any changes.

Both of my bandmates are Recording Arts majors at Indiana University with me, so we get free recording time. We've got an EP coming soon.

Played clarinet for 13 years... from 3rd grade through college, and alto sax for 6 years. I haven't played in the past 7 years, but I'll probably pick up playing clarinet again.

go buy one, start playing. maybe go to the music shop and get a book on it if you want to spend time and money learning music theory. there's tons of free musical resources on the interwebs for learning music theory. it's all the same, just different tools for achieving it. a major scale is a major scale whether you're playing it on a keyboard, a guitar, a xylophone, or a harmonica.

iirc most harmonicas are tuned similar to the white keys on a piano (c major scale) but i believe you can get them in many different scales to play different songs/modes

also- start cheap. obviously you don't want a used harmonica with someone elses spit covering it but don't let the music guy talk you into buying an expensive piece for your first one. once you know how to play better you'll know what you need/want in an instrument. start cheap.

Mess around with drums some. Play the Bodhran, badly...need to work on it more. I own a Fender Strat Squire (first real guitar) and a Kirk Hammett ESP. Also own a memphis 4-string bass and a Fender 5-string. I own a trombone, flute, alto saxaphone and Roland Keyboard. I used to play trumpet, percussion (quads), baritone, tuba, and some french horn. I want to dial in the bodhran. Also the Uilleann would be awesome to learn, just don't have the cash flow for one of those. hahaha

I miss the tuba, that was my instrument...

I have a Yamaha dtxtreme II electric drum kit that I play on everyday. I used to have around 40 guitars and basses. I kinda went overboard till the wife couldn't take anymore (MusiciansFriend.com FTW) Now I'm down to one bass and around 15 guitars.
