Bell Star (2012 model) or Bell RS-1? Which One?

They have the Bell Star on closeout which makes it about the same price as the RS1 but it's is not the 2013 design.

Would you suggest the higher end Star with the older design or the RS1, assuming I fit in either one the same.

NOTE: 2012 Star is about $250,
while the RS1 is $215-270 for older graphics,
or upward of $350-400 for new graphics or solids.

Obviously I'd get the 'better' lid, but the 2012 Star and the RS-1 do not fit the same like the new Star does.

What ResRob said...

Last year's Bell Stars DO NOT FIT THE SAME as this year's. If you want to buy a Bell Star on closeout be sure to try it on.

I know that for last year's Bell Stars I am a Small and for the Bell RS-1 I am a Medium. For my other helmets such as my Scorpion EXO-700, Shoei X-12, Shoei RF1000....I am a Medium on those.

I know that I would fit a small for sure on the RS-1, but was very concerned to go for the extra small on the Bell Star

I ended up pulling the trigger on an old graphic RS1 "Victory" for $179, so I'm quite happy.
