Yah, I've read that review and I love this style of bike. I just need to figure out how to come up with the cash.

I thought it worked like this with kawi 600's

1995 first zx6, great bike
2001 nothing special, yamaha and honda where better
2002 first move to 636 engine, otherwise same, still not a great bike
2003 complete revamp of 636 engine and everything else, considered one of the best 6's Kawi ever did until the 2009 model

If you do decide to go with it check out the potential issues on this link
http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/bi...02/?&R=EPI-292

does not really matter what we think, if you want it you want it

The 636 didn't come out till the 03 model with the complete redesign. That's when they stopped making this body style. Then in 05 they brought it out again as the ZZR600 with the only changes being it's name, the paint schemes, and no more windshield brace (the metal bracket you see right behind the handle bars).

I just wondered if others thought this was a good deal. I think it looks like a good deal, just want to see what others think I guess. I'm just the curious sort lol.

Does seem like a good deal. Without seeing it though, it is an eight year old bike with kinda low miles on her so at least test ride it if you can and see if the guy has maintainance papers.

Title? Often when there is no mention of the title it is a salvage/repair or no title sale. I would offer a lower amount, it is a 2001. You can get a lot of 2003 bikes for $3000 around here.

Here in the good ole' USA, ZX6 kinda started in 1984. When they stopped calling them GPz's.
