speedometer compatibility
hi all, i am need to motorcycle electronic, and want to do some mod on my 2010 ninja 250, and what to change the speedometer / the gauge, i stumble a lot of different gauges out there but don't know which one is compatible to my bike. ( also don't want to spend so much on it)

Search for the Koso gauge threads for ideas. We have a mechanical speedometer, rare for modern bikes, so there almost always has to be a converter to allow it to work with a more typical electronic dash.

they are all koso rx1n or rx2 and they are quite expensive,
where i am looking at some cheaper one like db01 or vapor speedometer where is around $150 or so but just don't know if they are compatible with ninja 250 |

you could always find the schematics of the wiring harness and make your own....

so, what's wrong with the stock speedo (other than being 10% off )? and of all the shortcomings of the 250R, that's what you're looking to fix first?
