I've actually been practicing on my buddy's old 250. Not dead set on getting a new 300, but if I can get a great deal and still practice on the old bike, I say why not  I'll be fully documenting my experiences in finding a moto in a future post when I can get all the info together. Hopefully, that'll help the next gen of newbies with buying/negotiating for a bike! |

 and as a relative noob, I would say that it's much less heartbreaking to drop or scratch an old bike than a shiny new one. And I LOOOVEEE my bike.
