That is what he typed into the system, best case he shipped the kit and he underestimated the weight and you will get a gigantic shipping due bill.
Unlikely though.

I don't really want to stir the pot but it's too early to relax. Who knows what this guy is shipping. I'm not talking about quality of parts but who's to say he didn't ship a small empty box just to say he shipped it?

You all should start some kind of FB page or website that gives people a place to upload their experiences with Brasse

that way you will have avenue for documenting your experiences and at preventing other people from having those same problems.

Also if it gathered enough people it could be used for a class action suite or at least motivate him to start settling past debts

Agreed. He told me that it's shipped and asked if I could update my post on those articles to remove "lessen the sting" about his kit. I said, sure, as soon as I receive your kit.

Skipped this one, make him wait for the update as long as he made you wait for the kit.

Use the same excuses.

I +1 on delaying the review for shits and giggles

Also, maybe you should video tape you opening the box, that way if there is nothing, or damaged goods, etc. you have it documented that it arrived there. Make sure you get the date and time in the video too

Finally received the kit today. So you've heard enough negative. Here's some positive. I'll probably have this bike done in 2 weeks and give a full review after I ride it around. I'd be done in a day but I'm missing some bolts, parts, and a few other things. Not Joshua's fault, my fault as I took off the stock fairings and misplaced some bolts. Some parts of the assembly requires stock bolts.

So Joshua has been answering all my questions promptly and even gave me his mobile number. The kit's right side panel mounts onto the air box but I have my air box removed so Joshua made one that doesn't require the air box and will ship to me on Monday. I'm glad he's stepping up and improving his customer service.

Build quality is good, better than I thought to be honest. Not as flexible as stock as it's thicker, but better than Chinese and a whole lot better than Indonesian. Can be good because it's sturdy (I don't see it cracking through daily rides) but bad because if you drop your bike, I'm sure it will crack. The finish work however looks great.

I really like the Gullwing head lights. Probably the best part about this kit. Just quickly mounted it on my bike just to get a feel of how it'll look once done.

For all the pain and suffering, that thing looks sweet as hell. It's like the Batmobile and a 250R had a one night stand and this is the outcome. Glad to see some closure on this.

I agree to some extent. It looks good so far but that still doesn't justify the bad customer service, I hope he is making Brasse wait for the updated reviews.
On a happier note, it does looks very batmobile-esque. If it had a bit more modernized plated armour kind of a look I would get it without a second thought. xD

Agree to you both. Now I'm trying to figure out how to mount the Koso gauge. In the front or on the gas tank. I might get the gauge bracket welded onto the gas tank because putting it in front kills the aggressive look.

LOL With the order process, yeah, lots of time.

So I had time to chop the tail. Yes, you have to saw off the tail in this kit. You have to cut the stock fender too but I haven't go to that yet. Was about to finish up the tail part today but the girlfriend wanted to go bicycle riding. Will finish it this week hopefully.

I am both glad and surprised you got the kit!

I'm looking forward to seeing the final product on your bike + your full completed review.

All in all, would you say it was worth it?

Being that all kits are in the same price range and I did pay a few hundreds cheaper than listed price, I would say once product was in hand it was worth it, at least from what I know now. I haven't finished putting it all together and give it a test ride. The build quality is good, although thicker and seems stiff like wood. It's ABS though, as I sawed through an extra piece he sent to test. Total weight of kit is 17.5 lbs. Not too bad. Chinese fairings is about 25 lbs I believe. Indonesian fairings (Ducati kits, etc) are much heavier than both and build quality is terrible. He even said if I could think of anything else he could make to add to the kit let him know and he will make it free of charge. I think he's trying to recover from the delayed time and bad press, which is professional of him. I don't think he's a scammer, just a guy who's trying to start a small business and learning through mistakes. If anyone orders, make sure to use credit card, that way if anything happens you can contact your cc company and get a refund. I can see a lot of people interested in just ordering the Gullwing head lights only which I'm sure he'll sell.

I opted out on the detachable seat. Good idea, but stupid for a 250. Plus, it looked so ugly. Instead, I had him get rid of the mount and steel rods and flip the front panel 180 degrees for a more aggressive look.

Also, FYI, the kit that was displayed at his show was made of a cheaper material and wasn't 100% complete. For instance, the way the Gullwing is mounted was changed to fit more secure. The flat lens were changed out to a projector lens. "Brasse" is now engraved in the Gullwing and not side fairings. Smart move, as most people will only want to use the Gullwing.

If anyone can think of other improvements, you can always contact him or let me know and I'll tell him. The bad thing about someone like this who's starting a new business is the wait/confusion. The good thing is, he's willing to experiment and change/add to the kit.

Had some time today so I finished up the tail part. Also mounted the Koso gauge onto the gas tank. Still waiting on some minor parts to arrive and I'll finish this bike up very soon. This will become my main daily commuter.

So if it's going to look like a bike Batman would ride it has to have fangs like a bat. I had Joshua custom build me the front bracket and opted out on them ugly passenger seat. Glad my idea came out as I pictured. Great job on Joshua Brasse for building it per my request. I'm starting to really love this kit as it's growing on me.

I will once I'm completely done. Just waiting for the side plate on the right side that should be here tomorrow or Monday. Also, have to see where I want to mount the bullet turn signal I got since this kit doesn't come with front turn signals.
