[American Motorcyclist Association] - AMA member ticket discount for AMA Vintage Moto

Last chance to save $15 off the regular rate

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- Time is dwindling for AMA members to claim their $15 discount on tickets for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days.

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days -- set for July 8-10 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio -- is the premier national event for vintage motorcycle enthusiasts.

"AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is an event that not only benefits the nonprofit AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, but brings together motorcyclists of all generations, from different locations across the country, who share the love of motorcycles, both old and new," said AMA Chief Operations Officer Jeff Massey. "We value our AMA members and encourage them to take advantage of the exclusive price discount before June 6."

Members who buy event tickets directly from the AMA before 8 p.m. ET June 6 receive $15 off the regular rate.

AMA members can call (800) 262-5646 to purchase:

  • A weekend pass for $45
  • A one-day pass for $25 for Friday or Saturday
  • A one-day pass for $20 for Sunday
There is no service charge for AMA members when purchasing through the AMA. Discounted tickets are not available online.

After June 6, AMA members and non-members can purchase directly from Mid-Ohio:

  • A weekend pass for $60
  • A one-day pass for $40 for Friday or Saturday
  • A one-day pass for $35 for Sunday
Activities at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days include North America's largest motorcycle swap meet, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show, the American Motor Drome Wall of Death, a classic motorcycle field meet, demo rides of current production bikes, seminars, live music, Builder's Row featuring some of the country's best custom bike builders, two premier raffle bikes on display, a beer garden with the region's best craft beers, the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days Adventure Bike Challenge, the AMA Pit Bike TT and displays by some of the AMA's most active classic clubs.

Schedules and entry information are available at www.amavintagemotorcycledays.com.

For 2016, AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days will celebrate the championship-winning career of AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Wes Cooley and the 40-year anniversary of AMA Superbike racing. Cooley will be on hand throughout the weekend to sign autographs, participate in Q&A sessions and perform demonstration laps on his championship-winning GS1000 each day.

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, a fundraiser for the nonprofit AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, includes vintage and post-vintage motocross, trials, hare scrambles, vintage road racing and mini road racing in the upper paddock. A half-mile dirt track event will be held at the nearby Ashland County Fairgrounds.
