[visordown.com] - Hyosung unveils fully faired 250 sports bike
HYOSUNG has unveiled the GD250R, a full-faired sports bike based on the GD250N that we spotted at EICMA last year. The Korean motorcycle will be launched in India in July and is expected to go on sale in Britain next year. The GD250R uses the same 250cc single-cylinder engine as used in the naked variant. It produces a claimed 28.5hp, has a six-speed gearbox and is Euro3 compliant. The sports bike also gets upside-down forks, a digital instrument cluster, and clip-on handlebars for a sportier riding position compared to the naked model. New UK importer HQB Sport & Leisure has said it will be importing 125cc Hyosung motorcycles this year, with the rest of the range coming next year. The R is expected to cost roughly Rs. 2.2 lakhs (£2,180) and will go up against the Honda CBR250R, Yamaha R25, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the new KTM RC range when it comes to the UK.
