List off turn signals that fit 250?

So I dropped Pocket So I need a new right front turn signal. I figured instead of paying 55 bucks for stock I may go for something new but doing searches haven't helped a whole lot. So far the only ones I've found that I know well fit are the proton flush mounts. What other turn signals fit the 250 or does anyone know where I can get a cheap right turn signal in Canada :P

Also I'm new to bike stuff so noob extraordinare will be doing it. I don't want any cutting of holes. Pretty much the only tool outside my bike kit I own is a solidering gun for when I want to make robots...Is that all I need for protons? Any additional pieces I may need would be appreciated.

Pretty simple wiring splice, just cut the old turn signal wires with the connections, and then connect the new signal wires to the old signal connections. They sell wire splices at auto zone type places or even home improvement stores.

Here is a link to the thread I posted about them when I installed them

Yeah I bought the Proton, 84$ shipped to Canada. I only managed to pay for them because the person that broke my turn signal paid me for it.

Rizoma

Well I just had these model#ZERO11 in Black installed, and they look hot, they are not cheap. They did have to swap out the relay. But these fit the bike perfect!

You'd figure they'd be made that way but according to my kawi dealership, no. They asked me which side I wanted to order.

has anyone ever been able to HOLD UP a stock, 2009 zx-6r/650r/er6n front turn signal and see if it would fit a 250r, w/o ANY or little modding?

This was taken tonight, will try and give you a better look when I shoot a few pics tomorrow. The great thing about these Rizoma is when they light up you can see them from all angles. And they are alot smaller than the stock signals. They had to swap out the relay. I can post info regarding (relay) if needed.

I believe they are, but at least on mine, the color of Grey plastic on the connector is different from left to right. But the connector looks like the same size. I never tried switching them, but I don't think I will try anytime soon as I just finished a Valve Job, carb sync and new tires so I kinda want to leave her together for a while.

Can anyone verify this?

You really do bot have to give them that much squeeze, compared to stock IMHO. I do a lot of braking, and gear shifting in downtown Bangkok, so for me it was a safety investment.

I went with gold lines, which matches the hardware I have on my bike.

Resurrecting a bit of an old thread, but I'm interested in the Rizomas -

Newguy70, how easy is installation of these things?

They come with some kind of box to step the voltage down, and also a resistor box for each signal, right? Or do you have to do the "diode mod" along with the new flasher?

I saw that you have to order adapter plates separately for mounting the signals on the fairing; did you need adapter plates for the rear signals as well?

The stock OEM turn signals are not interchangeable, as the front left will not work properly placed on the front right and vice versa. The reason for this is because the turn signal in the correct position/side has a notch opening on the bottom to let moisture and water escape. Putting the left on the right side or vice versa would mean the notch hole is now on top thus not allowing for the water and moisture to escape, but rather to fill up the turn signal.

Now, how important is it to keep this notch opening oriented towards the ground? Well, that I don't know and I wouldn't want to find out, as in general if the notch opening does truly work then that means having it oriented towards the sky would mean that your turn signal would fill up with water or condensation, and that just doesn't sound like it would play well with the current going to the bulb.

However, if you are in a bind then in all practicality the signal will function properly (i.e. blink) when it is suppose to.

Hi,

This was a very easy installation, I am not sure if the ones you are purchasing have a box to step it down. I had to go out and buy the box to step it down seperatley. It was pretty easy to find in Thailand, so should be no problem for you if you are in the states. I tried to include some pics to help you out.
