Think i wanna build one of these mini bikes

$100 harbor freight engines make me want to do silly things. Looks like a perfect pit bike. Right now im using an electric stand up scooter and i really want something with a seat.

Those $100 Harbor Freight engines with a new pipe, air filter, jet kit and the rev limiter removed are a lot of fun. You can get those 6.5 HP 212cc motors up to 8 or 9 HP pretty easy.

Z125's super cheap at Southeast Sales Milwaukee right now! Great suspension right from the factory. A blast at the kart tracks.

And they have a metric butt load of them on their wed site. I stopped scrolling at about a dozen.

The mini bike showed up. I fit on it!! (6' tall). Its geared tall, takes half a block for the clutch to lock up. Wayyyy too fast and geared way too tall to let my non- motorcycling wife or kid play with it. But it started right up and lugs my butt around if i give it a lil push to get going. A few loose screws here n there (forks especially), it came with the chain way too tight, and the brake mount was bent in a funky angle and dragging a bit. Had to go to hardware store for longer bolts and some washers to get it straightened out.

New sprockets are ordered. That should make it the slow putt putt bike that I want.

Model number is LY40MT-6 made by Luyuan.
