----------------- With the threat of rain looming large on the radars, there were a couple of eager names ready to attack for the top ten from the word go. All eyes were on Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi to begin with, as the archenemies were both vying for a Q2 place before the rain was scheduled to arrive. While Marquez shot straight to the top of the timesheets with the best time of the weekend, Rossi opted to build some momentum on the hard rear tyre first.
