BT-16 tire wear
I was wondering if this was normal:
 The edges of the tire groove look feathered and raised. Is it because of the sides of the groove Are compressing differently?

It's mild cupping. Check your tire pressure. It is more prone to happening if tires are either under-inflated or over-inflated.
