JOSH Waters took his debut victory in Race two at the GP circuit.

James Ellison crashed out on the second lap after clipping the grass at Dingle Dell. The race was stopped and restarted, and then restarted again due to rainfall.

Race one winner Ryuichi Kiyonari dropped back through the field and later retired, meanwhile Waters overtook Richard Cooper with a pass at Surtees to take first position.

The podium featured three riders to have never finished in a top three finish prior to the Championship.
