Aftermarket Gauge Questions?

Why does everyone use the KOSO? Is it the only gauge out there that works with our bikes? There has to be something else?

I found this

http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Install...ail_Tech_Vapor

But has it been done on a new gen?

I have the vapor on my new gen, it has everything except for the fuel gauge (which is useless anyways). The only thing I like better about the koso is that the tach is analog, but that's not worth more than double the cost of the vapor to me.

Can you take a pic of how you mounted it? Also, the Vapor ones that I looked at the tach when to 12k but with the BRT I will install later that will bring my redline to 14k that seems like an issue I actually like the digital tach better, after riding the 2011 ZX10R I fell in love with that tach. Any way we could integrate a ZX10R gauge into the 250?

The vapor has 2 tachs on it the bar graph that goes to 12k and the numercial that goes to 19k. And you can program 2 rpm warnings, I have my set at 8k and 12.5k. Yeah i'll take a picture later today.

This is how I have them mounted for now, using the included bar clamp mounting hardware. They'll be moving to the center of the triple next week though when I get my drag bar put on. Need the right bar replaced from a lowside last year, so I going with single piece bar that can be replaced for $20.

I like it a lot, the numbers that matter are big and easy to see. I haven't used the speedo function yet because they had to send me a new magnet pickup sensor, but everything I've read about it over on customfighters is that the speedo is spot on. Plus I wanted a kind of small profile being that I'm going with the fighter look.
