What color rimtape?

I have a 2008 Blue Ninja. When I look here http://www.tapeworks.com/KAWASAKI%20...Reference.html there is no color for the ninja 250.. So whats the best matching color?

Unless i'm mistaken yours is candy plasma blue the 2007 zx14 on that site has the right color.

If thats not it, im sure you can look back a few years and find a bigger bike that is the right color.

I say use lime green rimtape so your bike will be faster.

I have the reflective blue from Pro-Grip installed on my bike. It's not pre-curved but it comes with an applicator. I have the 2010 blue so I don't know how different it is from the 2008 blue.

Either Blue no one makes OEM colored rimtape, just get Blue that is as close to possible, or White/Silver what ever is the color of your Kawasaki/Ninja letters on your bike

For me, i have Sunbeam Red, so i just went with Red. With all the Black on the lower part of the bike, Red rimtape seems to help add contrast and break up the 'Blackness'.
I originally tought of using YELLOW...

So for you, IMO, i would go with White or Silver like i mentioned!

My Ninjette is green so I found some pre-curved green stuff, but if you can't find a decent blue, why not get another colour tape like I've seen some people have?

Something that would match the blue?

Mine came with from factory

and it fades from red to black in spots. But yes the blue zx14 tape should be really close to what your looking for. I would also go with the precurved, from hearing of people who have added this to their bike the precurved installation turned out to be way easier.

On a side note since I had mine factory I'm beginning to wonder if you can order it direct ... hmmm....

So after reading through all these rim tape threads and finding out no one can match the 2010 blue I went to my garage to see what random colors I had lying around. I slapped on half a stripe of orange to the front wheel just to see how the color works and went to bed undecided. When I woke up this morning my bike looked like this...

What do you think?? I know you can barely see the wheel but if I fully do those I'll post a better pic.

Oh, and fyi, my mom did the work. She goes pinstripe crazy with all of our vehicles. Does good work though.

The fact that your mom did this cracks me up. I'm not a fan of orange... it's too manly for me lol.
