post jet kit issues

Okay. So. I'm making progress ,but like everything else. I take one step forward and 3 back. I installed bigger main jets (100 from stock 98), and I also put in the bigger pilots (40 from 38). Now, I'm pretty sure the pilot jets is where my problem is. Unless I have the throttle about more then halfway open , like basically hard acceleration, my bike sounds and rides as if the jets are clogged. It's not but that's the best way to describe it. Kind of a sputter I guess. It just doesn't seem right.

Also, my idle is very weird. I can't tell if it's rich or lean because there's symptoms of both. When I start the bike it idles great and starts sounding off as it warms up. After I start riding though, and come to a stop, the idle comes down very very slow. But. Sometimes it will drop below 1000 rpm to the point where it seems like its gonna stall, and I have to blip the throttle to get it back up.

lastly. I am getting TERRIBLE gas mileage. I'm talking like 100 miles per TANK. I thought this bike was something like 65 mpg. May be wrong but either way I know I should be getting way way better mileage. And I think this was happening before the jets too.

I haven't checked the plugs yet due to time restraints. I've covered my airbox finally (lol). Snorkel is in place. I just have the new jets, and the needles on the 3rd position. And my mixture screws are 2 turns out (as advised for bigger mains).

I don't know. Tell me where I'm off because I'm sure I am. Everyone has different things to say about how to set what so I'm just working through trial and error. But if anyone could give me an idea of what's going on and where to go from here that would be great. Thanks!
