Motorcycle experts to share knowledge, experiences at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Riders of Kawasaki

Seminars feature Simon and Lisa Thomas, Craig Vetter, Jeff Fredette, Guy Cooper and more

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — Motorcycle enthusiasts attending AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Riders of Kawasaki, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio, July 7-9, will have several opportunities to attend seminars where they will learn from experts who have traveled the world, published books, hosted podcasts and more.

The seminars, including presentations and question-and-answer sessions, will be presented in the Mid-Ohio Tower, which features unparalleled views of the track’s famous turns and rolling hills.

Simon and Lisa Thomas from 2ridetheworld will host seminars on July 7-8 about their 14 years of global motorcycle adventures.

Author Armand Ensanian will be on hand to speak about the future of electric motorcycling on July 7, the evolution of the internal combustion engine on July 8, and the history of the Japanese motorcycle industry on July 9.

On July 7, Guy Cooper will speak about his involvement in the Indian Tribute Ride.

Cleveland Moto/Motorcycles and Misfits Podcast with Phil Waters, Liza Miller and gang will conduct a live recording of their show on July 8.

AMA Off-Road Racing Manager Erek Kudla will give a behind-the-scenes rundown of the U.S. ISDE Team and the men and women who make it possible on July 8. He will be joined by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer and longtime Kawasaki off-road racing star Jeff Fredette, who has won a record 33 ISDE medals.

Other seminars include presentations by U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg of the U.S. Congressional Motorcycle Caucus, Hall of Famer Craig Vetter and Distinguished Panel, and Mike Wells.

Wells is a noted Harley-Davidson restorer who will speak about his work on the 2017 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame raffle bike, a 1966 Harley-Davidson that will be given away on Sunday at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days. Tickets can be purchased at www.motorcyclemuseum.org.

An annual fundraiser for the nonprofit AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Riders of Kawasaki, features vintage motorcycle racing, bike shows, seminars, demo rides, a swap meet with nearly 1,000 independent vendors and much more.
