I hope it works ...

In Germany the riders talk about a special fork oil which makes the ride very smooth and so I'm gone test it now (ordered today).
By using HKS GGV the so-called telescopic fork breakaway torque is completely eliminated.
Smallest bumps and the like are not transmitted from the unsprung portion of the front fork on the bike..
The result is silky, smooth ride and safest ground. A noticeable relief! In conjunction with an HKS Super lubricated chain results in a "smoothest driving" !!!
A breakaway torque does not exist anymore!

Application fork-slip improver
Instructions for HKS GGV (FSI)
100 ml trickle plastic bottle
External use:
On the sealing of each fork leg lip rub 3-4 drops HKS GGV with your finger.
Repeat all 1000 - 1500 km (600 - 1000 miles).
Internal use:
Per 100 cc of fork oil put 2 cc HKS GGV into the fork oil.

Let us know what you think, but the "breakaway torque" is from friction created by the fork seals ("stiction"). The wipers on the seals would eventually remove most of the oil you put directly on them.

The fork oil is used to dampen the fork action, and I wouldn't expect the oil to change the friction from the fork seals.

A very thin fork oil would allow the fork to move quicker/easier on sharp or small bumps, giving the feeling of smoother fork action, but could become a problem as speeds and loads increase.

Now after riding 800 km (500 miles) with the HKS GGV in the fork oil I'm sure I can say: Yes it's doing what it's made for - eliminate the fork breakaway torque.
My forks are very smooth and I feel it doesn't have that point of breakaway anymore when pushing them down.
And today after riding a real catastrophic road I can say my suspension setup is absolute great

By the way from what I read (I don't have a chance to test or compare) the breakaway torque of an usd-fork should be much higher than from the normal fork.
