freaky front fender fracture
Woke up to 50 degree temps and decided to look her over real close before we went to play. Notice front fender was cracked near forks....both sides, very similar cracks. Going to get some DUCO now and will add pix but....anybody else see this on their 300. 2 days ago....no cracks and has been in garage....hasnt been looked at or touched since thursday. Easy fix, hardly visisble but I've never seen abs...or any other plastic simply crack without any stress.

FAST FIX FOR under FIVE, WITHIN 15
Well...it looks like exactly like what I put into it and time will tell if if my 15 minutes was wasted. Cussing the fender out...1 minute Fender off.....5 minutes Taping the pieces together on 1 side...2 mninutes each side...outside only as i used the tape as a hinge so I could fold the break open on the inside to drip the cement in between the mating parts.Duco DOES NOT tack quickly! Slopping a load of Duco Cement from the inside....2 minutes and $2.99 Been drying for 18 hours now......... Replacing fender.....less than 5 minutes. THE POINT IS: Every bodywork crack does not need a trip to hot bodies or the board WTB . And...will increase your status in the community.... Err...yeah,, that crack,,,,,that's from when me and rossi went head to head and I was coming up on him and he slided into me....yeah...that's why I'm so slow now...I'm careful....I tend not to pass anybody ....y'know...even though i can. |

freaky? I was expecting the fender crack to be in the shape of Jesus or Abe Lincoln or something I don't know... freaky.
