Which of these two SEs looks best?
The 2009:
or the 2010: ? I have a 2011 and need a new left fairing, but those sh*ts cost too much! I found a few good deals here and there for the two aforementioned fairing sets, so now it's just a matter of which would I like to convert my bike to. I'm not a big fan of the 2010 SE look, but it's faaaaaar from ugly. As for the 2009, I've seen a few in person and I think they look pretty good. Just want some other .02 cents. Thanks.

there is no difference in the engine or any other performance aspects, just the paint right right?

If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the 2010.

A little white is fine... but it isn't a true Kawi without the green

I don't want to order fairings from the expensive websites/dealerships. There are a few people selling fairings of the two SEs I posted. If I do end up ordering through one of those Kawi sites, I'll just go with the 2011 SE since I'd only need one fairing then.

FWIW, I'm planning on buying frame sliders also once I order whatever fairings I go with. I'd rather not risk damaging new fairings and end up HAVING to go with those Chinese fairings.

A little update for anyone who cares:
I am most likely going to go with the 2010 fairings because the guy who is selling them is actually returning my messages with responses, while the dude with the 2009 fairings has yet to send me pics of the fairings. I will admit I prefer the looks of the 2009 over the 2010, but if the 2010s are the only ones I can get a seller to actually respond back on, I might as well go with them since the "customer service" alone is 100x greater. The 2010s aren't ugly at least. I don't think any of Kawi's green fairings are ugly on the 250R.

2010 looks cleaner IMO. Though I'd remove the top vinyl and simply put a black Ninja decal.

2010 is winning by a decent percentage. I'm 95% positive I'm going with the 2010 SE fairings.

Paint on the 2009 looks best. Exhaust on 2010+ is way way better looking...but if you're not keeping it stock this doesn't matter.

I bought the 2010 SE fairings. Now we play the waiting game for them to be shipped.
Thank you to everyone who voted. I didn't necessarily need anyone's opinion on which to buy, but I was just curious what you guys would vote for. As I mentioned a few days ago (a few posts up), I was in talks with two sellers, but only one (guy with the 2010 fairings) seemed legitimately interested in selling me the plastics, while the other guy stopped responding to me once I asked for some better pics of the 2009 fairings. I guess I will be one of the first (if not THE first) 2011 SE owners with a 2010 look.
