Broken 2012 turn signal
I just bought a Kawasaki 250r recently, I'm new at riding and dropped it on the right side going around 20-30mph. The left side is fine, but when I use the right turn signal, the light next to the odometer stays on rather than blinks, as does the rear turn signal.
I know for a fact the front turn signal is broken and I'm looking to buy a replacement, but the rear turn signal doesn't blink anymore, so should I look into buying a rear turn signal as well? Also, from what I've researched the original OEM turn signals for Kawasaki are rather expensive, and LED is a much cheaper alternative. But I'm new at motorcycles, would LED be too much trouble for me to install? should I just spend the extra money and buy the OEM ones? |

The indicator and the rear don't blink because the front bulb is blown, simply replacing the bulb will return the dash and rear to normal. Kind of a safety thing for you to tell you a bulb is bad, but I think it's mostly due to the thermal flasher that is stock on our bikes.
I didn't switch to LEDs so I can't answer that part as far as if they are easier or not. I'd try digging through the Marketplace here and see if anyone is parting out their Ninjas, especially anyone going strictly to a track bike. The front and rear signals are identical and the right and left just differ on where the drain hole is. You should be able to find something used fairly easy.

Always always ALWAYS check eBay before you decide something is expensive.
"Ninja 250 turn signal" Find an OEM one, and note that a rear left signal works just as well for a front right signal.
