visually syncing carbs

I am getting ready to do some major work on the bike: full exhaust, air box removal, k&n filter, and FP jet kit. I read somewhere in one of Vex’s DIY carb sync with the bottles, somebody replied that you can “visually” sync the carbs while you have them off. I’ve never worked on carbs before so, how exactly do you go about visually syncing the carbs. Thanks in advance.

Doing a visual sync still will not make it perfect, invest in a sync tool or fab one up yourself for ~$10-15 and do it the correct way.

This is what we call bench syncing. Even still, it's actually easier to legitimately sync them in my opinion, as you don't have to remove the carbs to do so.
