No wonder we get confused for 600s!

So I went to a dealership today to look at a 250 (Hopefully be picking it up tomorrow if I get the money) and woah. It was next to a 600 and I realized why they're always being mistaken for 600's. These bikes are bigger then I thought lol. Guess I'll be making slightly more room in the garage.

Best way to tell is to take a look at the back tire. It's basically the only way to tell from far off.

Thinner rear tire, single headlight, narrow fairings, not true clip-ons. There are plenty of ways to tell if you know what to look for. For those of you who care whether or not people think you are on a supersport; good news, anyone who doesn't ride couldn't tell. And there are plenty of riders who don't know the differences well enough to tell.

The single disc rotor in the front is also a giveaway to anyone who has a clue about riding sport bikes

Main thing for me is the rear tire.
Dont see how anyone could mistake it yet everyday people do.

the dead give away for me is where the fairings meet the tank
or the lack of visible frame

but having owned one really makes it so easy to identify a 250
i go by headlight if im in front
taillight from the back
fairings from the side
