94 250R mods.

This is my 94 ex250. I bought this for $650 a couple months ago. It didn't run or anything, then had to go though a bonded title process to find the title and$50 later got that. I've done all the work myself. Light bar headlight, flush turns, bought tail light off wish. Cut back tail to slope like the new bikes. Now I need an engine, had a rod bearing disintegrate, so I'm going to get a complete lower end and put it all back together. I wanna do the fork and swing arm swap from the 08+ bikes now lol. Any input is appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Hi and welcome to Ninjette!

Rear swingarm and fork-swap from newgen are easy. Be sure to get triple-Ts as well since fork-diameters and offsets are different. Put down towel under headset or something to catch 10-million little ball-bearings! use grease to hold them in place when re-installing.

BTW, can you post beamshot of those headlights? Preferrably onto white garage door.

Hey welcome to the site, looks like your bike is coming along nicely!

I also happen to have a 94. Lots of ways you can "make it your own". I for example have stainless steel brake lines, I integrated the rear signals, swapped in a stiffer rear suspension, and upgraded the horn to name a few. I actually just painted the radiator grille the other day, just for something new. It's fun tinkering around with these bikes.

Have fun and welcome!
