Good tip, leave it in first gear and stay alert. That was one stand up guy for chasing after the perpetrator. There should be more like him.

He rides a Honda 600. I hope the lil Ninja will pull hard enough to get out of the way. I can only assume that I will not have time to shift and will have to redline it to keep moving. Hope I never have to find out.

I always leave my bike in gear for that reason. I also always check my mirrors to look for cars stopping behind me and flash my brakes at them just as a "hey look there is a bike stopped in front of you."
