Latex coated zipper pulls? Zipper pull covers?
I've noticed in my commute that the zipper pulls on my jacket pockets are banging around against the tank. Has anyone ever covered their puller-thingies with latex, rubber, or some other material to soften them? I'm also thinking that miht make grabbing and using them much easier. If not coated, maybe a sleeve of some sort that could slide onto the metal?
I found some Aerostitch zipper pull covers but they wouldn't work for my jacket. |

They sell it at home depot. Not sure what colors they come in but I think they'd totally solve your problem. |

I picked up some plastidip today and that stuff is amazing!! It's also a lot of fun to just dip random crap in. I've coated lots of stuff already, but the zipper pulls are perfect coated with this stuff.

Glad it worked out. I'm sure there are a ton of other uses for that stuff.

Plasti dip is excellent for office pranks. Pen tips, stapler, mouse, phone handpiece, you name it.
As far as actual intended uses, great for covering servos, electrical connections. Waterproofing anything. Dipping guitar pic end for better grip. Covering ends of glasses to help them fit into your motorcycle helmet (after you cut off ends that hit padding inside helmet). Covering tweezer ends for grasping delicate objects, like jewelry. Sealing diaphram rips. Insulate wire near exhaust or engine. Covering sharp edges on something dangerous for dog or toddler. Protecting a soldered connection. On rope ends (or shoelaces) to keep from unraveling. Literally thousands of uses. I love this stuff, up there with WD-40 and duck tape on the must have list for any home.

Used the black plastidip I picked up at Home Depot. Here's one zipper from my Triumph jacket coated in it, and the zipper on my Airhawk. Airhawk pic was taken while the stuff was still wet so it looks very puffy. The Triumph zipper looked very similar before drying.
