Carb Question

Hello All,

I recently picked up a 2007 Ninja 250 a few months ago and decided yesterday to remove the carbs for a cleaning. When I got the carbs out and set them down these two pins/bolts fell out of it while I wasn't looking and I have no idea where they came from. I can't seem to find them in diagrams of the carbs or in videos, does anyone on here happen to know what they are? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

I think it’s 16017

To see those parts in their "natural habitat" here's a link to a picture over on the ninja250.org How-To pages:

https://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/File:Carbs.jpg

When they are installed properly you will see them at the bottom of the Airbox side of the carbs, peeking up just under the vacuum slides.

(Don't lose them and get them back in the carbs all proper when you're finished rebuilding, the bike won't run without them)

they are indeed the elusive, expensive 16017, needle jets

install ,drop in the main mix chamber orifice (the tallest one) with open end inwards, closed end towards you... prior to the emulsion tubes (aka "main jet holders")
