2002 GSXR600 with 12k miles for $3500.
He is asking for 4000 but willing to sell for 3500.
What do you think?

Wait, I thought you sold/were selling your bike to help your friend out? Now you're looking at a GSSR?

From what I can tell, it's a pretty good deal. Kelly blue book lists this bike at a little over $4200 with an expected mileage of over 28000 (http://www.kbb.com/motorcycle/retail...gsx_r600/79216). That's also expecting pristine condition, but also stock. Just from looking at the pictures, this bike has an akroprovic exhaust, front flush mount signals, grips, a tank pad, sliders, a seat cover, a rear seat cowl, a fender eliminator, integrated rear signals, and fairly new tires. The sprocket and chain seem to be in fairly good condition. I'd say, if it runs well, it's a very good buy for $3500.

I wrote her a check 2 weeks ago.

I'm also selling my mustang to get a tacoma.
