this probably isn't good(puddles never are)

so i went to get my transcripts fro the fall semester today. when i pulled into th eparking lot i noticed no one was there so i pulled up to the door to see the time schedule to know when to come back(closed on Fridays... meh). In the amount of time it took me to hop off my bike, walk five paces, curse, and walk back to my bike, this happened: What do?

It appears to have a greenish tint (coolant), but did you see if it had an odor? It could be gas coming out of the overflow (that black tube hanging down in the second pic) if you filled up recently.

Is it coolant, gas, or oil?

errr yeah it had a gassy odor and it was a bit green for my liking, but she rode fine on the way home :/ need for worry or no? not sure 100 percent if it was gas or not but i am thinking it was...the odor wasn't strong but you could see the fumes as it came out of the hose

was it hot out? Probably overheated and puked it up.

Mine did that, then I found out the radiator fan plug came undone

The longer skinny hose is your fuel overflow, the shorter, fatter hose runs up the right side of the bike and I cannot recall where it ends up. All 3 hoses that run to the tank are on the left side, so it must be something else, but I can't put my finger on it atm.

Now that you mention it, THAT is where the fatter, short tube runs. It is the overflow for the coolant reservoir.

If it overflowed then adding coolant will just make it overflow anything you add right back out, assuming you get back into the same heat range.

Just listen for the fan to kick on when you come to a stop with the bike off. If you have factory airbox/exhaust you will likely be able to hear it even with the bike running, but I cannot with a Yoshi/airbox delete.

Check fan plug, right on the back of the motor
check your coolant level

my 2005 puked it up one night and I noticed the fan plug was off, popped it back on and they kicked right on!

As long as there is SOME coolant in the reservoir (when cold) you are fine. If/when you decide to add more, be sure the bike is fully warmed up as the reservoir actually fills with the coolant from your radiator as it heats up and pulls it back in as it cools down. If the bike is cold and you fill the reservoir it will push a great deal out, and coolant is slick as hell.

Edit: To add to the above post:

That is the fan switch plug, however you will need to remove the small side cover and the lower fairing to access it. It would be way easier just to listen for the fan to kick on. You will definitely hear it if the bike is off.

If the fan doesn't kick on and if that plug is connected, another possibility would be the motor lead:
