Problems Starting running a bike
Hi all,
last night on my way home my bike just died. ('09 250r, it has 6K miles and i have it from when it was 700miles on the clock). when turned on key Neutral light would not come on and no sound of fuel injection. Front lights would turn ON OK. After 20 min of trying (gears, side stand, clutching etc ) i managed to get it going enough to reach home. i was able to start it at home couple times but not for long, it just dies even in neutral. I honestly believe it must be wiring problem, safety switches or grounding. Where is neutral safety switch grounded? what about clutch switch? I have noticed clutch switch is not clicking but i think it's been like that for some time now. Also that fact that it dies after starting in neutral suggest that it's not clutch switch issue? Appreciate your help, want to get back on it ASAP Cheers! |
