Got pulled over!
by a pretty awesome sheriff. not for speeding though! he flicked his lights on on the freeway so i got off and pulled into a lot. he walked up and said "that's a 92 yamaha fzr 600" ... i was stunned! he knew so much about my bike! i asked if he rode and he said he used to be a bike mechanic. he asked me "what did you do to this thing?!" so i laughed. he told me all the nice rules i was breaking but was pretty cool about it. didn't give me any fixit tickets or anything. my signals weren't far enough apart ("9 inches in back, 11 inches apart in front" he said), and said the license plate was really the only problem that really needed to be addressed. i asked him about plates on the swingarm and he said its fine as long as they're horizontal and lit. said can't have vertical plates. (sorry dustin ) also he said i don't need any gauges as long as i keep from speeding (i wasn't speeding he said so i guess i can tell how fast i'm going ) he also pointed and laughed at my missing caliper! but i guess i can't complain since i didn't get any tickets or anything!
just remember peeps, when speaking to the law, make sure every other word is either "sir", or "thank you"
