A Yorkie-Poo that thinks it's a retriever, plays fetch for hours. Somehow he can hear the Ninja's Two-Brothers exhaust coming nearly 2 blocks from home!

This is the first dog I have ever had.
His name is Jackson aka Jack for short.
He is a Jack Russel Terrier.
Taught him every trick in the book.
I got him from the pound last month using the money I got from Adrian's valve job.
He's a little backpacking and motorcycle shop dog.
Love him already. Crazy lil guy hysterical.

Had a lot of fun with Jackson on the tech day. Awesome dog!

Sachiko is my sister's dog and will be going with her to the USVI but I've been there her whole life and she thinks that she's just as much mine. Benjamin was rescued from the pound because Sachi needed a playmate and they are great friends. He's considered both of our dog. Sadly, Benjamin won't be able to follow his playmate to the USVI with my sister. When she gets her own place he may go, but it's going to be even harder to say goodbye.

It isn't the first time I've had to tear myself away from a furry family member. My twin brother's dog in GA may not even remember me when I return because it's been almost three years.

Three cats. Two DSH's and one Somali. The Somali is mine. I love this cat. She is super smart and extremely loyal and trusting. I don't think I could ever have another cat other than a Somali from here on out.

Mickey and Dennis. Typically they always hang out together, like kitty BFF's.

Here's our 2 black labs, Sadie on the left, Subie on the right. Subie's name should be obvious to any self-respecting Subaru owner. Sadie was named as such simply b/c we wanted the alliteration of their names and my wife & I couldn't agree on any other name for her. For the most part, I hate naming animals with human names.

They're twin sisters from the same litter. We don't buy animals - too many strays and unwanted pets to ever pay for an animal. Our dogs were from a litter of unwanted puppies; when we told the caretaker we'd take 2 she told us these 2 seemed to stick together the most after birth. We got them at 10 weeks. Even at almost 10 years old, they still always make sure to know where the other one is at and are never far from one another.

This pic is a couple of years old; they'll be 10 in November.

Once these 2 pass on we're done w/animals for awhile. It's grown a bit tiresome for us having to plan our weekends around timing it so we can get home to let the dogs out or feed them, etc.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels here. One on the right - lots of doggie degrees, CD, CDX, UD. One on the left would run off a cliff if asked, perhaps also if not. One in the middle - a terrible dog. Doesn't come when called, won't pee outside or anything.

Awww, so sad. :-( Munchkin is gone. She has been very sick for a couple of months, fought long and hard, and mom ended her suffering this evening. Dogs' only fault is their short lives. So sad.

Found this today. I hope others get a similar chuckle out of it like I did.

Link to original page on YouTube.

The puppy in it so reminds me of our recent family addition. We named her Peanut and she was rescued from the streets. A $1,000 later... for treatment for a rare form of the mange and heart-worm's and she has been a great addition to the family. She can always put a smile on your face. Here's some pics as a puppy

Here you can see her playing with her sister Daisy (mentioned with pics in a post above). Daisy has since regained a healthy weight as you can see she is a bit over-weight in this pic.

We picked up some chics a month ago. A couple Leghorns and two Silver laced Wyandottes. Thought we were getting all females, turns out we have one each(M/F).
Dont know what were gonna do with the roosters..... there just learning to crow in the morning.
Spent a few weekends building a coop and run, came out pretty nice. Wyandottes are real friendly, leghorns not so much. Just waiting on some dam eggs
