If your focusing on shutter ideas, you may be in the wrong thread.

(not that there's anything wrong with that)

Fair point. Of course, I have never been known to be sarcastic either. I most certainly am in the right thread.

HAHA that is very economical and resourceful of you to utilize your Ex's Ex's jackets ., But I think that would make them Your jackets. even if they are hand me downs provided by a historical figure.

LOl My ex took the jackets I had bought for her to wear when we used to ride. Icon leather and Textile. They were pink though. and I guess everyone hates pink all of a sudden

She literally took my piggy bank too :/ with 80 some dollars worth of change.

And who knows what else. ... Thats what I get for letting her move out when I wasnt there--- helped prevent me from losing my mind.

I am sure the jackets are passed on to someone else now. She doesnt ride and neither did the guys she was going with at the time.

I wanted them for spares :/

Rant off.

=====================

I really like your gear setup. Its dark, sleek, classy.
The kind of image I am going to aim for eventually. Right now my power ranger gear is good enough

thank you I am not a 'high fashion' or even fashionable person and spend 99% of my time in tank tops, hoodies and jeans, but I am picky about my gear! now to find pants that fit with the rest ... I chose one thing at a time, first the gloves, then the helmet, I really like matte black for that, the jacket was a total stroke of luck, it is an XS and I can fit a sweater underneath it, I would never have been able to find something like that in my size that I could afford

@Finesse I love the color of the sv. Very nice.

Unrelated, you work at a dealership correct? Tell me more about the sales aspect of it. I'm curious as to what your insight is. PM me, thanks.

@CycleCam303 I work at a repair shop. we sell new 2-stroke scooters and new royal enfields but I only work on bikes, I don't sell them. and we are about 90% repairs/maintenance and only 10% sales/gear/accessories.

But. errmmmm, have you considered something more protective in the pants deparment? You work at a dealership and I'm assuming you get a discount on brands you carry? Use it!

PS: I'm sorry for being awkward with the cute comment. I usually try not to be a creepy internet dude.

Yeeeeah I get discounts on everything bike-related. If I had the cash I'd go crazy. I can get a $600 Arai for $290..... Ok Ok I'll look at the women's pants we have in our catalogues. I hope I can send things back and exchange or return, it's 99% likely nothing will fit. And I am picky.

lol @ creepy Internet dude. I remember when I first got AIM, and everyone was like 'DON'T ENTER YOUR REAL ADDRESS' because the creepy hairy old men internet lurkers WILL find you!

I ride in jeans because the only pants I own are jeans. Going to get me some badass snowmobiling pants for winter riding!! ......and some pantsgear, I have been peer pressured.

Yes, can someone peer pressure the money tree into dropping some more leaves into the bank account that I borrow from my bike and my dog sometimes?

No. People don't really ask. I might, depending on the job. But I'd tend to do it for free unless I don't know them or it's a more difficult job. I don't mind helping someone out once in awhile without seeking $$ in return.

Guys are creepy, we've all seen it firsthand. I'm still in college, I can witness this every day. I will apologize for how I come off because while I don't mean them to, I'd bet that my actions sometimes come off like the creepy dudes I see. I try to not make a regular habit of noting how female members look on the forum because I don't want to make them feel uncomfortable. I enjoy making off color jokes about random pictures people post from time to time, but I really try not to.

So neeahhhhh!

Besides. I don't have to be smooth. I'm an engineering student who spends more time absorbed in his projects and his job and on his bicycle than he does with his friends or (admittedly) his girlfriend. No one expects me to be smooth. On top of that, I hate guys with 'game' and their obsession with themselves. Gosh. It's not all about picking up chicks for a cheap time. Relationships (romantic or solely mutually beneficial) happen. You shouldn't have to play a game for them. They happen on their own. If I were looking to pick up girls, this would be the lamest way to do it; cruise an Internet forum about motorcycles and dangle the bait. Winner right there...

I can't speak for any other female riders out there but it takes a lot to make me uncomfortable. Like WAY more than a passing comment about looking good on a bike. I work in the shop with all guys and I'm starting to feel like one of them... Besides, I've been known to make comments of my own once in awhile lol... See adjust the junk thread...hahahaha

now the real question is, are all the apparent douchebags really douchebags?

I'm sure some are but if all of them were then so many people would be douchebags to the point where being a douchebag would be normal

@choneofakind. - I kid I kid -
I didn't intend what has ensued

I think women on the forum have seen it all-
This is the Internet.
Thus I would suspect you would have to try pretty hard to creep out a chick around these parts

I am going to have to change my sig to a disclaimer

*!Most of what I say should not be taken seriously, if taken at all!!"*

Also- Scroll back up and read that post again. We should consider it a public service announcement - solid advice really

- don't admit to nothing
- don't refer to oneself as creepy

This advice is universal hahaha

I won't admit to nothing, but I might've done things that would make a farm animal blush. Alas women know a few things about men- therefore they R never surprised . Least of which by a inoccent compliment.

And speaking for myself and what I believe to be most everyone else-
We like the ChoneMan round these parts

Sooo

- when you going to post a pic of that gf on your bike????
You don't have to neglect her.
She can hold a text book-

STUDY , NINJA, GF . <----- all about efficiency

- any female ninjetters offended creeped out or other wise amused by my comments
Please send all fan mail , complaints , or concerns to the quick reply box below.

Why pm? The thread goes nowhere quickly. I make comment, she makes comment, I picked up that it wasn't a direction to go in, thread continues in it's intended topic direction. No fuss, no muss.

Speaking of that... Back on topic.

I will post a pic of a female on my bike. A nice young lady I met from NYC while at Thompson. Lexy was her name I believe but I am terrible with names.

While I normally have no problem meeting new people. I had 2nd thoughts of meeting this 250 rider. Her husband/father??? was a really big guy. Like... bodybuilder type of gent. But.... what does my daughter Jade do? Of course, she goes right up to her and strikes up a conversation. So I ask if she minds if I get a pic of her bike and she says "sure". Next thing I know, here is this big dude coming at me. All friendly of course, but I had to do a double check of my "presence" there.

Finally got some pictures in my new suit, and sort of of my new paintjob, and I couldn't resist sharing! (And yes, I did pass that guy shortly after this was taken. Worry not)

Last picture is the racer women of CVMA at our annual awards banquet, in a rare of moment of not being pumped up on adrenaline, covered in sweat and motogrease. They are all ordinarily girls on bikes who rock, I swear
