Rear Master Reservoir brake hose
As the title says.
I am down to the last piece of the puzzle to get the bike back in proper condition, I need the hose that goes from the master to the reservoir, or something similar that will fit over the 10mm nipples. |

Just modified mine on my Ninja, the stock one was too long with my aftermarket rearsets. It is nothing special, simple parts store hose. It does not have any internal string reinforcement like a coolant line or a fuel line.

Just be aware that many rubbers will not last long in brake fluid, including the common buna-n (nitrile) that rubber hose is often made from. McMaster-Carr has a selection of EPDM rubber tubing. Put that into their search box to see it.
Rubber-brake fluid compatibility chart: http://www.efunda.com/designStandard...=Brake%20Fluid Although EPDM rubber is not in the chart, it's very similar to "Ethylene-Propylene" and withstands DOT 3 and 4 brake fluid well. |

The description says it's vinyl, not Nylon, and it looks like vinyl tubing. Charts seem to show vinyl as only "fair" with brake fluid. You can find compatibility information for whatever you're interested in with a search for the material, and the words "compatibility brake fluid".
I'd get some ethylene propylene rubber or EPDM rubber tubing if I needed something for this application. That's what radiator hoses are made of, by the way. |
