Low $6k is what you can expect for the next couple months then it should drop around $100 a month as locals buy their 300's & once most people in the area have bought their 300's they've been dying for & waiting for it will be just regular foot traffic in the stores & people seeing other's on 300's & getting interested enough to want one of their own who will be buying them up.

The AZ dealers I've spoken too (around 10 or so) have all said it will be a "few" months before prices normalize. They are basing this on Kawasaki's limited release & popularity. This bike looks great & is a perfect starter bike for people with the money so they will be in demand for a while.

I'd say in AZ expect to pay low $6k for a month or 2 then high $5k for another couple months at least then mid $5k then low $5k where it should stay by 6 months

However I do know a dealer who can get you one for mid $5k now. I'll have to ask him if he can do that pricing for others. If so I'll give you his contact info & you can tell him I sent you & he'll give you a low otd no haggle no bs price. He can get $6.5k for them right now so to sell them for a $1k less he's being fair & reasonable which is asking a lot for a dealer.

Let me know if you are in AZ & want to buy a new ninja 300 for $1k less than what the other dealers are selling for.

If you want a ninja 300 for mid $5k's in AZ you can wait months & months or go through the dealership I'm going through.

Likewise, if you're in Ontario, Canada, I can refer you to my dealer who only wants msrp+tax.

Can anyone else verify this? It sounds from reading this thread that the Costco deal is alive and well.

Read my previous post in this thread. If you don't believe me or think they may have changed it back or that it's different in your region then I also provided the links & numbers to verify it yourself or double check.

Just got off the phone with the Sales Manager @ NC House of Motorcycles, Tyson, he said the demand is crazy for the 300 right now, he's still making deals on them, and he's ordered a bunch more, but they're no longer doing the Costco deal based on the demand.

Still worth a call to get in line with a deposit if you want one, tell him Joel sent you, maybe someday they'll actually sponsor me ;-) (but I doubt it)

I think I'm the only one racing a 300 this weekend at Chuckwalla; I'd like to get a full grid of 300 supersports out there, but it'll take time and riders.

Thanks for the update. I have an email in to Tyson asking about the deal you got, so we'll see what he comes back with. I'll update here with actual numbers once I have them.

I know the one way to get a new Ninja 300 in AZ for mid $5k's. You can pay $1k more & get it now somewhere else now or you can wait months & months for the prices to drop or you can PM me & I'll tell you the dealer to go to & how to do it.

My local added these to the price freight 399, handling 199, doc fees 199. Is that right?! Price of bike is $4799.00 and of course tax 425.00. total otd is $6020.00 plus plates.

Local dealer her only added freight, tag, and tax. I don't know about that extra $400 BS they are charging you. Wait it out if you have patience.

I'd ask them "Freight! Freight???? Freight from Where?" Then tell them, "I'll pick it up myself"... It would make a "Great Road Trip"... make a good thread for here too...

800 bucks in bs. Id actually put it together myself also. I was talking with my fiancee and they can stick it. We are going to search for a 2010-2011 250 they can be found all day long for about 3k. Besides Obama's still in office we should be seeing a bunch for sale soon enough.

Drove my Black non-ABS 300 home yesterday. It was at the dealership for over a week. I had to wait for temps above freezing due to my lack of cold weather gear.

Bike: $4599.00
MN motor vehicle sales tax: $298.93
MN plates/registration: $125.00
My out the door price was $5022.93

I was pumped that the dealer gave me an off-season discount. I originally ordered the bike at $100 off MSRP. (my first OTD price quote was $5467.68) I wasn't expecting a deal on a special order. If anyone else is looking for 2012 SE 250 ninja they have 2 brand new in stock that you could get for about $3900 OTD.

Insurance was cheaper than I expected. At american family I'm paying $189.00 a year for full coverage and a $500 deductible.

I bought my 300 over the weekend from Paulson's Kawasaki down in Lacey, WA. They said that the Costco pricing was ceased last month but he gave it to me anyways.

$5500 OTD

I had to drive it home on the freeway for an hour in the dark. Before that, I've never even ridden above 20 mph outside a parking lot! LOL

New 300

Just bought a black 300. I had to drive a couple of hours to Louisville, KY from Dayton OH to utilize the Costco program. $5300 OTD. $250 Costco card coming in the mail. I was not a member before this so that cost $55. Approximately $95 in travel fuel costs. Puts me at about $5200 net for a color not available in Dayton yet.

Ride report coming tomorrow!

Mark @ S&S Powersports. Located in Clarksville, IN (just north of Louisville, KY). I had no problems with the deal. I actually did 99% of the transaction over the phone, before driving to the dealership. He said the Costco program brings them a lot of business. The dealership was busy because they are good people.
