Sorry should have elaborated, I came up on the d00d from behind when the light was just turning green, I came alongside and initiated the wave (Camera took the shot)...we are moving by now, he had ample time to respond but didn't (at the time, I thought he must have missed me) but the pic clearly shows him giving me the "once over"...so, I don't know...maybe he was a noob and was a 'taking hands off handlebars' virgin...I'll probably wave at him again, if I see him..I wasn't hating on the guy lol.

Ahh...that was very observant of you cap isn't painted btw (...wondering if I should retract the 'observant' compliment ), it's the race gas cap produced by SlingShot Racing...no more fiddling with keys and it's a fraction of the weight of the original.

Nice as usual. Looks like your loads of gear can be mix and match too. Don't sell the black jacket. I like it, it's hot.'nuff said, listen to the women, we know what's good and good gear is very good.

Was doing another forum photo challenge and ended up with this one. A little something for the ladies..

The challenge was 'your bike next to model/stripper/car-wash girl in bikini etc'
Since I was not about to do that I asked if it was okay of I rode to the firehall and got some firefighter to pose for me. Worked like a charm and I won the challenge, rowr, rowr. I even got extra points for getting him to sit on my bike..

lol...well, you can say that I suppose, I like showing my boots off...but I also feel reassured in knowing that there's nothing "loose" down there so close to the chain.
I gotta say though, I mix with a lot of bikers and this is the first time I've heard a critical comment about the 'pants-in-boots' style...

I hadn't thought about it til now either but I see lots of guys with real riding boots tuck pants in but the guys with the regular leather boots seem to put the jeans over.

Your excuse to get more gear, EthioKnight.

To show off your boots????

Hmmmm. I had a pair of Daytona Security Pro's, ($1000),
& I still wore them under my jeans! :P

That's like if you wore cowboy boots, tucking your pants in them!
To each their own....I was just pointing it out like you had food stuck in your teeth!

If I had the daytona evo or even the pro...I'd wear them under my jeans, because they don't have ANYTHING to be shown off! No flashy "exo-skeleton", no colorful plastic adjusters and fasteners, no clear rubber heel guards with a bright red inner guard and other such elements...they offer the best protection, I'll give you that, but are not 'flashable'...and I dare say, look belonging in my granpa's closet

but at the same time, Jeans are every so slightly better than shorts. And I'm cheap + not likely to wear the overpants everywhere, so I don't want to buy them. I know...

I mean I guess I should buy at least some reinforced jeans or something.

Some do it because their jeans get caught on the bike. I’ve done it a few time with looser legged jeans/pants.

@massacremasses: you look like some kind of agent on a mission with that gear and bike! I bet you feel driven to ride more energetically on that thing... swerving around and aggressive braking/acceleration etc
