If you suffer from chronic medical conditions, drug or food allergies, or are taking multiple medications, consider exhibiting a medical ID alert:

CPR and basic First Aid are very useful skills to have.
best to learn them and get certified regularly.

sometimes the local paramedics will teach a course for like $40.

well worth it, imo.

Local community Colleges offer it also. Always good to know.

I'm fully qualified in emergency first aid to the highest level St Johns does, and it's well worth it.

They put this advert on the telly here, and they reckon it's saved so many peoples lives due to it being nice and easy to remember, it also tells people not to do the kiss of life, lots of people do nothing because they get put off by the breaths.

Link to original page on YouTube.

A lot of fire departments also offer it for free. You can also gauge interest at your workplace and ask the HR / Safety person to have someone come in and teach a class over one or two days.
