Megelli face

Hi,

I really like the Bennche Megelli 250R's looks, and the only part that I'm not really a fan of on the Ninja, is the fact that it uses one light instead of two, and therefore has that "cyclops" look, whereas I'm more of a regular "two eyed" fan. Has anybody done a swap? Is it even feasible? Thanks

anyway there are a few people who did the micro projector hid conversions... i've seen a few that had two in there with dual cutoffs as well. they also make a face cowl that goes over the top of the lense to seperate the two. don't know how well the megelli would fit though... let us know if you try it!

Hahaha sure thing! As you can see though, I'm still bike-less... it'll still be a loong way before I can even take my license (2 years) hmmm... I hope someone does a mod soon so I know if it'll fit!

20, actually, but before I could take my full license, I was suspended for not having my novice driver sign on (multiple times) and thus have to wait another 2 years before I can get a full license, after which I can take the knowledge test for motorcyclists, wait 14 days to take the skill test, wait 30 days and finally get my full motorcycling license. Yeah, licensing in BC is a humongous bitch. I see people who change lanes without signalling all the time, and I get suspended for not having a piece of green magnet on my car. Totally dangerous, that.

the fixing points are all different between the 2 bikes. it would take quite a lot of modding to get the migelli farings onto the ninja. there will probably also be handlebar clearance issues.

one might need to swap out both the front and the side farings, but then the side farings wont line up with the fuel tank...

ive seen a LOT of modded ninjas here in Indonesia, but i have never seen anyone mod their ninja into the Migelli farings. everyone knows its a cheaper bike, and is known for its low quality components, so i dont think anyone who has spent the money on a ninja would want to make it look like a cheaper bike i guess, lol

having said that, i personally like the look of the Migelli, but the sitting position is a lot more aggressive (lower) than the ninja's, giving them also a good rep for sore backs, rofl.

i wouldn't mind seeing pictures of someone doing this

I don't like the cycloptic look of some Ducatis and GSX-Rs but I can deal with the Ninjette's. They do sell pieces that fit over the headlight area to divide them if you want them, but they look even more weird to me.

there is an even more cross eyes looking headlamp though, i think its the ninja 600. since the front faring is possibly wider, and it might be that the 2 projectors are set together quite close, it really looks dorky in a funny way, lol

the lil 250 headlamp isn't really cross eyed imo, its just a little slim, could have looked nicer maybe if it was a little wider overall~
